Netflix Chooses Ideal Star for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Third Season
The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the real showdown won’t take place until the third season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Bentham. Bon Clay has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The performer, who is identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them, will play a rendition of that character reinterpreted as non-binary, rather than as a drag performer, in the live-action show, differing from the original manga and cartoon version.
Escola joins a number of new cast members tasked with bringing the group to reality, featuring head Sir Crocodile, played by the well-known actor, a talented actress as another operative, and a familiar face, who will appear as the ensemble as the ruler of the fictional land.
Even though the role is a important part of the organization, the character won’t appear until One Piece the upcoming installment. Considering season 2 set to cover the Little Garden arc, this signals a notable change in the schedule of their first appearance, one that could suggest further changes to the story’s structure.
The actor’s combination of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the part. Besides their current animated role in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and several accolades for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, showcasing the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is due to premiere for its season two on March 10, 2026.
