Gyokeres is due for further examinations this week amid concerns he sustained a thigh issue during Arsenal's Premier League win against Burnley on Saturday

Alexander Isak Returns

Isak, absent from action since 22 October because of muscle issues, made the squad for the World Cup fixtures against the Swiss team (November 15th) plus the Slovenian side (November 18th)

Potter's Role

The English manager was named the Swedish federation initially on a short-term basis on 20 October, less than a month after he was dismissed by West Ham

Previous boss the Danish coach was fired after Sweden's 1-0 loss against the Kosovan team in mid-October, an outcome that made automatic qualification in Group B out of reach

Present Position

Sweden are currently last place in their qualifying group with only a single point in their opening four games

Even if they don't manage to secure second place, they could still take part in the qualification playoffs due to of their results during the previous Nations League
